Friday 7th March - short walks **** – Around Felixstowe and Martlesham – sunny with light winds.

Walk 1 – Sunrise .

I woke early so decided to head out in the van to check out the sunrise, drove to Felixstowe Ferry but did not look very promising so I returned and parked up near Bent Hill to walk up to the Spa Theatre to take pics of the palms as the sun came up, I had some fun with a daff I found in the gardens before returning home to sort out my pics. As we had an appointment in Ipswich with Purple Bricks to get my Dads bungalow on the market in the afternoon I got up early so I could do my exercises in the back garden.

Walk 2 – Martlesham Church.

We have taken all our vinyl out of the loft to sell including several LP’s signed by Marc Bolan to sell as they have been in the loft 35 years and we are having a clear out, I picked a few mainly greatest hits LP’s to play before boxing them and dropping them off for some to go to auction. I had packed a picnic and we had enough time to eat it at the lovely Martlesham Church now a purple blanket of stunning crocus’s. We sat on the round seat in the church yard before driving to Ipswich to meet my sister and had a very successful meeting with the agent, a person we actually childminded his children several years ago!
